While you're here

We have compiled some frequently asked questions and created some info boxes below. There is always someone available to you 24/7. We are a small boutique-style property. Office hours are from 10 AM to 6 PM. We do have someone on the property at all times. Feel free to text the office number after hours for our after hours answering service.

WIFI

There are several different WIFI available at Bungalows On the Bay. Turn on your wifi, choose the wifi with the strongest signal to your location. You may see: Guava Berry, Bungalow (#), Bungalow Main, Chenay Main, or Restaurant. All of them have the same password: sunshine. Wifi speeds vary. Hardwired speeds are 100mbps

TV

All of the televisions need to be connected to the internet in order to watch. Simply go to settings and then choose the WIFI with the best connection. Log in to any WIFI and use the same password: sunshine. Some of the rooms are equipped with a smart tv. You can explore everything on one remote. You will know because you have the option of choosing Nextflix, Hulu, Roku etc... when turning on the TV. If you do not have a smart TV you simply press the power button on the TV Remote. Secondly, press power on the Roku remote or Fire Stick remote. Netflix and Hulu are signed in for you. If you prefer to use your own accounts, Simply logout and log yourself in. There are 50 Bungalows On the property. Occasionally Guests check in later than the office os open, and that is ok! So here is a map if you need it.

Electricity

St Croix is served by WAPA Power. WAPA loses power at least once a week and with weather. Bungalows On the Bay has a generator for the property. You may be a guest during the time that we lose power, just sit tight for no more than five minutes and power will be back on.

Services

If you experience issues while you are here, please let the office know immediately. Beacuse we operate like an Airbnb, we are onsite, but we will not bother you unless you ask us for it. If you would like to have your room serviced with fresh towels, please text 340-208-2591; Include your name and room number and the day of the week for the request. Please put all towels to be exhanged in a pile in the bathroom for the housekeeper. Our housekeepers will not move personal items. Should your room need a full refresh, we will happily obligue on every 3rd day of your stay if requested. Please note that requests for same day service must be recieved by 10 AM. We will happily still exchange towels for you at the front desk until 6PM.

Ice & Water

The water at Bungalows On the Bay is well water. It is treated and tested frequently to ensure it is clean. However, we recommend that guests drink bottled water to avoid any digestive issues that arise from drinking well water. We offer free water to all guests. Water and ice are available at the office as well as the bar. If you would like a bag of ice for your room, the office has them available.
